Take A Look At These Awesome 80s and 90s Styled Game of Thrones Prints By Mike Wrobel!

To quote the classic Zoolander, “Game of Thrones is so hot right now”. With the latest series now showing in the states, us UK viewers who don’t have the luxury (or cash finances) to get SKY Television have to basically avoid all contact with the Internet for a few weeks. Luckily here is some artwork any fan of Game of Thrones can enjoy, spoiler free.

Mike Wrobel has reimagined some of the iconic characters from the show but given them a unique twist. He has changed their looks to show us what these characters would have looked like if the show came out in the 80s and 90s. Below is a selection of some of my favourites. The sizes listed are the smallest on offer (MINI (8″ x 10″) and they start at $18.00.

Mike has a real eye for detail as well as a handle on what these characters are all about. Examples of this can be seen in the John Snow print where he has a wolf on his shirt, Bran wearing a Professor X shirt (fans of both series will appreciate the reference) and my personal favourite the White Walker with the ice lolly. It is this attention to detail, as well as the fact the artwork looks so great, which makes these pieces instantly collectable. This attention to detail can be seen in all of Mike’s work. Below is a small selection of some of his other pieces that may be of interest to fans of cinema and pop culture.
