A little while ago we brought you details of Mondo and Oh My Disney’s gallery show ‘Nothing’s Impossible’. Since the show was announced a few weeks back excitement has been running high waiting for pieces to be previewed for the show which opens at the Mondo Gallery at 3pm this Friday and runs through until March 11th. Over the past few days we have been given our first glimpse at some of the pieces we can expect to see at the gallery, and we must say our excitement was truly justified, the pieces look INCREDIBLE!! Take a look..
Sleeping Beauty by Billy Baumann
The Rescuers by David Petersen
Aladdin by Tom Whalen
Alice In Wonderland by Ken Taylor
With plenty more pieces to still be revealed by a number of big names such as Aaron Horkey and Olly Moss, expect more updates over the next few days.
And because Disney is, you know, for the kids, this Saturday, March 8th Mondo invite families to enjoy art, activities and entertainment as we will celebrate the magic of Disney with a family in a special child friendly event from 9AM to 11AM.
Frankly, I wish I lived somewhere close enough to be able to get to this one as Aladdin and Sleeping Beauty are both fantastic pieces that NEED to be in my personal collection! Alas, a swim across the Atlantic is a little shy of how far even I will go for this obsession! If you are going, enjoy the amazing pieces on show and be sure to get in touch with us on Twitter and Facebook with photos!
