Shortlist ask YOU to vote for the Best Alternative Movie Poster of 2013

2013 has seen a boom in popularity in the world of alternative movie posters. Studios are really starting to see the added marketing potential that the mediu, offers and the quality of what is out there has really skyrocketed. This must have given Shortlist a major dilemma when they, well, shortlisted some of what they have selected as the best movie posters of 2013 and are asking you to vote for your favourite.

We’ve assembled 20 of the greatest examples and we want you to vote for your favourite. As an added incentive, one lucky voter will also nab a copy of the winning poster for their wall.

Here are a selection of what Shortlist have picked.

Jock – Zero Dark Thirty

Marie Bergeron – World War Z

Matt Ferguson – Elysium

Vero Navarro – The World’s End

There are some really strong contenders in here and it is great to see Shortlist supporting so many independent artists and the work they have produced and to not be entirely dominated by Mondo. The difficult part is choosing just one to vote for! To vote, and to be in with a chance of taking home the winning poster, head on over to Shortlist.com before December 19th.

Brandon Schaefer – Iron Man 3

Daniel Gaze -Man of Steel

Tom Muller – Gravity

Samuel Rogers

For me to pick one will be an incredibly difficult task. It is difficult to not be swayed by the source material but I intend to choose based completely on the artwork itself and it’s representation of the movie.
